Feeling down along the phd journey.how do u deal with it?
(from group DSG FB)...akma share di sini nasihat dan idea yang best....tapi bagi akma
memang akma masih amatur dalam bidang research tapi apa yang akma nampak setakat 31 tahun hidup ni....gunakan pendekatan 80:20 di mana 80% adalah mendekatkan diri kepada Allah 20% adalah usaha....anda tidak percaya???anda pernah rasa susah?try la......memang terasa jiwa penuh..bercahaya (wah jiwang pula ayat kan?) hahhaa...tak terasa kosong...rasa tenang...dan yang paling awesome.....kerja jalan...ada progress ok...hehhee
approach ini boleh apply kat kehidupan harian kita juga tau...akma nak banyak menulis (typing actually and akma nak contribute sedikit la untuk semua reader yang sudi jengah di sini)..mungkin one day orang tanya apa yang kita contribute dalam hidup untuk kehidupan di sana abadi....mungkin ilmu dunia dan sedikit sebanyak akma masukkan sedikit ilmu dan pengalaman untuk di akhirat soon....
panjang lebar pula akma membebel..ok back to topic ...how should you do if yo feel down???

1. Take a long break..ada masa seminggu lebih tak tengok langsung research work saya.
2. Baca buku pasal kejayaan orang lain mengharungi phd
3. Exercise
4. Spend lebih masa dengan family.
Alhamdulillah, Allah akan bantu permudahkan urusan kita.

"Meet people! Meet your fellow phd colleagues and have a chat over a cup of coffee/biscuits or have a lunch together. Talk about each other projects, your concern over your phd in a very casual environment..
cause sometimes your colleague may see your problem from different perspectives, and may unintentionally trigger a solution that you may never think of before. Having a very supportive colleague for me indeed very helpful, as at this point of time, one of the most important thing you need is strong emotional support from everyone (family, colleague, supervisor) to boost your motivations and re-energize.
Don't ever confine yourself in a room, cause it may lead to stress and depression. Best wishes!"
- haaaaa..yang ini akma suka..akma bersyukur sebab sedikit sebanyak Allah telah permudahkan urusan akma..akma register kat ump..akma masuk lab..ada dua rakan lab iaitu kak neeza dan ain....so ada problem..nak makan..nak bergelak ketawa..nak bertanya...mereka berdua lah...awal-awal lagi nak ucap terima kasih....give and take ya! akma dan ain banyak grab ilmu daripada k.neeza sebab dia seorang lecturer di Unimap..banyak pengalaman dalm publishing dan akademik...
Ropizah Rohani : Jangan paksa diri...jangan buat kerja dalam keadaan stress...yang ptng kualiti...itu saya katakan pada diri sendiri...phd itu matlamat, tapi kesihatan diri juga perlu diutamakan...
Ili Izyan Syazwani As a Muslim, Allah sahaja tempat kita bergantung. It is only He who has the power to permit all the assistance you need to get to you through His creations (supervisors, family, friends, counselor, etc).
Ikhlaskan hati lillahi ta'ala, perkemaskan ibadah wajib, sentiasa tambah dan istiqamah ibadah sunat, banyakkan doa (I can't emphasise this enough). Plus, good time management is crucial as this will have a direct impact on your stress level. Don't forget to take some time off once in a while.
The journey is meant to be hard, but if things get too overwhelming, don't keep it to yourself and please seek assistance immediately. Hope this helps.
Akma ada saja nak komen dan nak tambah kan?hehehhee
sis ropizah share tu akma suka sangat sebabnya apa yang kita buat, bila stress jangan terlalu memaksa..have fun for a while...release tension then start it again..continue lab work...inshAllah kita boleh buat ....kesihatan pon penting....haaa akma nak share sket...sepanjang akma menjual produk kesihatan, kecantikan dan kosmetik...
akma memang consume aura white sebab ada kolagen untuk bantu dapatkan vit c...nak sihat nak cantik....sebab memang x berapa cantik compared to others kan..hehee..bersyukur Allah kurniakan wajah ini....hehe...vitamin c 1000mg pahang pharma wajib 1 hari sehari...kalau hubby dan mak bersungut rasa macam nak demam..flu..terus laju mulut akma membebel suruh amik vitamin c 1000mg daily ok..hehehhe
walau macam mana pun..back to our creator Allah yang satu kan???rasanya ini lah cara paling x susah..paling berkesan....susah senang nak kena ingat Allah....
